when will my order be shipped?

we process all orders within 1-3 business days, then all orders are shipped out on the same day via australia post. you'll get a tracking number via email once your order is on its way.

shipping times after dispatch:

  • standard shipping: 2-8 business days
  • express shipping: 1-4 business days

what about local pickup?

pickup times and the specific address will be emailed to you when your order is ready for pickup - usually within 1-2 business days. we'll give you all the details you need to come grab your goodies!

just a heads up though - if your order isn't picked up after 10 days, we'll have to cancel it. we totally get that life gets busy, but we need to keep things moving smoothly on our end!

do you ship internationally? 

currently we only ship within australia, but we're working on international options - trust the process and stay tuned because it's going to be good!

can you combine multiple orders?

if you place separate orders, we cannot combine them or refund shipping costs ;(

here's why this actually works better for everyone:

  • helps us easily track each individual order
  • minimises risks if something gets lost or damaged in transit
  • keeps our order management organised and running smoothly
  • means faster processing times for you

can i cancel or return my order?

orders can only be cancelled and refunded within 24 hours of placing your order - after that, we're already prepping your goodies for shipment!

for returns, we only accept them if your order arrives damaged or incorrect. if this happens (which we really hope it doesn't), just send us a proof picture through instagram or email and we'll sort it out for you.

we want you to be totally happy with your order, so we'll make it right if something goes wrong on our end!

do i have a purchasing limit?

nope! you can grab as many cans or tins as you want - we're not here to limit your matcha obsession. stock up, treat your friends, or just keep them all for yourself - we are here for it!

when is the next restock? can i preorder?

we honestly can't promise specific restock dates right now because of how unpredictable matcha supply is. almost all matcha brands in japan have buying limits of just 1 tin per person, plus there's been a matcha shortage making things extra tricky. we're trying our best to bring more stock to you though!

for now, we can't do preorders, but the best way to stay updated is following us on instagram @chin.leaff where we'll announce restocks as soon as we know.

trust us, we want to restock just as much as you want us to!

why do prices sometimes change between restocks for the same product?

even though it's the same tin and brand, we need to adjust our prices based on a few things that are honestly out of our control:

  • the yen exchange rate constantly fluctuates, which directly affects what we pay
  • import expenses vary for each batch depending on what our suppliers charge us
  • sourcing matcha directly from japan is incredibly challenging - the process, regulations, and costs can change between shipments

we try to keep prices as consistent as possible, but these factors mean sometimes there might be small differences.
